Every full moon (or the nearest Friday night) a very cool local hostel, Poste Rojo, has a party. The hostel is located half way up Mombacho Volcano and is mostly set in tree houses. You can take a look at the site here:

All the staff and volunteers at Casa-Nica decided to go and join them for their full moon party at the end of August. It was a lot of fun and something that we intend to repeat often.
The theme for this party was Zoro.
