All the administrative and technical work takes place at the Zemora Teran Foundation (FZT) headquarters. The majority of the volunteer work that we have done for FZT is with the auditing and repair of the XO laptops. Once a year during the Christmas holiday, which is the longets holiday in the Nicaraguan school year, all the laptops are collected and shipped back the the FZT office in Managua. Every laptop has to be inspected, a self diagnostic test run, and logged. Also, any repairs have to be carried out before the laptop can be returned to the child.
